Today’s business environment requires that project managers understand organizational strategic planning. Organizations that are proficient at strategic planning will survive another year to tout their wares. Organizations that do not master the science of strategic planning will not survive long. This half day training course teaches Project managers to understand and facilitate strategic planning sessions in their organizations. Participants will be able to assess current organizational state, formulate a strategy for business success, and help their organization implement the strategy through projects. Participants will learn to evaluate organizational progress and make necessary adjustments to the strategy as the organization progresses. Through the use of case studies and hands on exercises, and methodologies like PEST Analysis, Porters 5 forces, and Balanced Scorecard, participants will be able to lead their organizations in the strategic planning process.
